Modified to 10-round capacity using our proprietary internal limiter. The baseplate (of your choosing) is permanently sealed to the mag body with industrial adhesive and cannot be removed.

I took an AR carbine class recently (in California) and we were taught to grab fresh magazines from belt mounted carriers using a “beer can” grip with the support hand. I was using 10 rd mags with Magpul ranger plates, but the magazines didn’t stick up out of the mag holder (CompTac polymer mag carrier, which is great for a class situation at least) enough for me to get a good grip on them. 10/30 mags seem like cop magnets to me here in California, but the 10/20 rounders with the ranger plates are long enough for me to get a proper grip on them. I keep a printout of the product description in my rifle bag in case of police hassle – it says the magazines are permanently modified to a 10 round capacity. Excellent product!

Mags are great. Stuck in CA for a while and like the look for the 10/20 mag especially when shooting on the bench. Give you that room to move the rifle compared to having a 10/30 mag. Would recommend to anyone needing a 10 round mag. Thanks!

The 10/20 Magpul PMags are the bomb as far as legal capacity “20 round sized” mags go. Use them exclusive for Highpower comp where magazine size dimensions must be that of a 20 round mag. They work flawlessly, maybe even better that non-modified Pmags, and you will NOT get one round more into them than 10 no mater how hard you try. From a legal standpoint, thats important. It’s unfortunate some of us have deal with these legalities, but we are fortunate to have a company like Calegalmags providing first class solutions.

Outstanding magazine. For some reason the 10/20 Magpul magazines are hard to find here in O.C. Calif. They have the 10/30 and 10rd mags but not the 10/20. 10 rd mag is the max you can legally have in left wing California. I think the 20 rd mag looks the best in my Colt M-4.

I live in a restricted state. 10 rd. max magazine. I bought this for my Ruger AR-556. Which only comes with a 10rd steel mag. This Magpul gives me the looks of a 20rd. It is also works well as a backup 10 rounder
