AK H.A.M.M.R. (Hybrid Adaptive Magnetic Magazine Release)
AK was developed as an enhancement for AK-47 style rifles.
AK stands for AK "Hybrid Adaptive Magnetic Magazine Release".
The hybrid designation comes from the fact that the AK H.A.M.M.R. can
be used as a semi-permanent magazine release enhancement or simply as a
bullet button tool for California based AK owners. The AK H.A.M.M.R. is
adaptive in that it can adapt to many different AK platforms as well as
several bullet button (magazine lock) styles.
Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA.
Recommended compatibility: Solar Tactical style magazine locks for AK pattern rifles (available to purchase separately, see related items below)
Does not work with proprietary mag locks (Arsenal AK, etc.)
It is not legal for
the AK HAMMR™ to remain affixed to the rifle at any time while in the
state of California or any other state with fixed magazine requirements.
AK HAMMR™ is intended to be used as a magazine release tool to comply
with Title 11 Section 5469(a) and California Penal Code section 30515.
Leaving the AK HAMMR™ attached to a rifle’s magazine release may result
in law enforcement action and/or criminal prosecution. It is advised
that AK HAMMR™ users become familiar with California DOJ requirements
and updated interpretations of existing firearm laws and regulations.
